The West Virginia Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Association is a combination of two academies. Our main academy is located in Charleston at 1007 Bigley Ave. on the 3rd Floor in Suite 335 (Beside Primal Training). We have a satellite academy located in Nitro at 302 21st St. on the 2nd Floor in Suite 208 (Kings Way Building). The WVRJJA is part of the Midwest Ribeiro Team managed by the 1st American Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, Chris Blanke. We specialize in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but offer classes in Gracie Combatives for self defense. All instructors are ranked under the legendary Ribeiro Brothers (Saulo and Xande) and we have four instructor's certified in Gracie Combatives for Military and Law Enforcement from the Gracie Academy.
